I have been taking 3 pills a day 900mg for several weeks and have noticed a remarkable decrease in my Rosacea flare-ups almost immediately. It has literally worked wonders on my skin. I’m not paid to say this in any way. I’m just a customer that found a product that work for me and I’d like to get the word out to other sufferers of Rosacea. MegaRed has been amazing in treating my Rosacea skin condition by reducing the redness and keeping my skin clear even under stressful conditions which usually are a trigger. QUESTION: my understanding is that we need between 600-1000mg of DHA a day…..your product MegaRed contains 24mg in one softgel. So, does this mean I need to take 20+ softgels a day to get the minimum requirement of DHA. So, in fact, isn’t your pill practically worthless in the benefit? I don’t get it. Can you clear this up ~ am I not understanding something? thanks

Please consult with your physician if the itching continues, you might be allergic to shellfish or just krill oil itself.

One thing to consider, krill are a small shrimp, high on the list of what not to eat if you suffer from gout. Gout is no joke, folks, I had my first flair up about two months after I started taking krill oil, 300 mg twice a day. My second toe on my right foot swelled up, the joint very red and extremely sensitive to touch. My toe has gotten much better while taking Rx of indomethacin, for a month but last Friday I ate a shrimp salad and on Saturday toe all swollen and sensitive to touch. I am not saying it is the krill oil, but I never had a single problem with gout in my life. My BMI is 25, blood pressure normal, and I don’t smoke, do exercise. It just dawned on me it could be the krill oil, my wife, a biologist, flipped when I told her about it and is convinced of a connection. Stay tuned.

I have had a liver transplant and take medication to suppress my immune system. Would taking Krill oil hurt (since it boosts your immune system)? I have high cholesterol and heard it helps lower cholesterol numbers.

I just purchased a bottle of Mega Red krill. In the past I have been taking Omega 3 fish oil. I have been taking 4 pills of 1000mg with 300mg active epa/dha. Mega Red suggests I take only one pill daily i’m tempted to take 2 pills of Mega Red is this necessary?
